Don't you find it amazing that God's Word tells us He "remembers our sins no more"? Can we actually "forgive and forget" like that? Scripture says to "forgive others as the Father forgives us", so it's certainly possible. It all hinges on who is doing the forgiving, you or the perfection in you! Be blessed by this short teaching.
"The Perfection in You" Episode #9 Perfect Strength
God's strength is made perfect in our weakness. It lies within all believers because Christ lives in all of us, and so does every characteristic of who Jesus is.
"The Perfection in You" Episode #8 Perfect Peace
Is it possible to walk in God's peace all the time? Scripture seems to suggest as much. Christ was called "Prince of Peace" by Isaiah some 750 years before He came to earth. We know through Paul's teachings that Christ lives in us, in perfect union with our new, reborn selves. A believer should naturally assume that whoever has the "Prince of Peace" living in them, God's peace should dwell there too. Take these scriptures into your heart and begin to eliminate any distractions from the truth that keep you from living in God's peace every day.
"The Perfection in You" Episode #7 Perfect Acceptance
The Apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 1:6 that we are accepted by God by His grace and His Beloved. Recognizing that Christ lives in us helps us realize that we are perfectly accepted by God and are His beloved also!
"The Perfection in You" Episode #6 Perfect Righteousness
Our being right with God has everything to do with Christ's finished work at the cross. As His disciples, when the Father sees us, He sees righteousness because He sees His perfect Son living in us! Do you believe our rightness with God can ever be broken? Give us 10 minutes and let us know your thoughts.
"The Perfection in You" Episode #5 Perfect Light
We are not the light! As believers, we need to embrace this. Jesus Christ is the light to the world and He lives in everyone who calls Him Lord. When we move ourselves to the side, Christ shines through us into darkness that has never been able to extinguish His light. When given the opportunity, choose to shine Christ and let the perfection in you save a dying world.
"The Perfection in You" Episode #4 Perfect Obedience
Is it possible to be perfectly obedient to God's Word? When we choose to be Christ-conscious instead of self-conscious, our lives are always bearing fruit because we are "in Christ". When we "take up our cross", ever mindful that our old sinful nature was crucified with Christ, we should have no problem with our lives lining up with God's Word. Eat His flesh and drink His blood! Rest in Christ who is alive and well in you!
"The Perfection in You" Episode #3 Perfect Love
God's perfect love was sent to us in His perfect Son Jesus Christ who lives in us. We must not listen to the enemy when he questions our love for God. When we are Christ-conscious, we do have love for God, but let us remind ourselves that understanding grace means a recognition that God's love for us is the focus; not our love for Him. Let us boast always about His amazing, unfailing, ever-faithful love for us!
"The Perfection in You" Episode #2 Perfect Union
This episode #2 of the “Perfection in You” Series is based on the perfect union between Jesus Christ living in us and our new reborn self. Jesus explains that we are reborn when we believe in Him. The Apostle Paul speaks of the death of our old man, and uses the term “in Christ” throughout his letters to the church. Our being “in Christ” is our identity when we focus on this perfect union within us. Christ Himself says we will bear good fruit when we focus on this union and we will bring our Father glory! If you’re in a dry season of your life and you need to sense God’s mighty presence in your life, turn your focus away from your imperfections and instead focus on the perfection in you, that is Jesus Christ!
